  • Text: OUR ANCESTORS\*Legend and history states that Arthur Patterson and
    his brother Charles Patterson came from Ireland
    about the year 1750. They settled at Chambersburg,
    Pa. Arthur raised a family of 3 sons, James, Thomas
    and John who went west of the Appalachian
    Mountains and founded homes of their own. Thus
    Arthur Patterson was the 1st generation of our
    family in the U.S.A.
